“Gonna Love Me” starlet Teyana Taylor and Snowfall‘s Damson Idris are the faces of Hennessy’s new “Made for More” campaign: a promotional run of five off-beat mixing videos and five cocktails that aims to “shake up perceptions” of the leading cognac label.

Shot by Andreas Nilsson and produced by Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, the five short films see the two stars put different twists on classic cocktails like margaritas, mojitos and highballs, in campy visuals. In one shot, Taylor pours a drink over a bright red lawn mower; and in another, Idris makes a sweet honey cocktail amid a heated chess game.

In addition to the entertaining videos, the campaign also includes several photographs shot by Micaiah Carter, whose elevated lens sets Taylor and Idris in the same imaginative locations as the aforementioned films.

At Dreamville Fest this weekend, Taylor promoted the campaign IRL inside the Hennessy Lounge, where Hypebae sat down with the multi-threat artist for a game of “Bae or Nae.”

“Hennessy is well known everywhere but people don’t
always know about how versatile it is,” explained Julie Nollet, the brand’s chief marketing officer. This campaign is the Hennessy’s bid to change that.
