3sixteen has soft-launched its foray into activewear in collections past – releasing the first iteration of its Trail Short in 2021 and then reviving the silhouette alongside the Trail Shirt for its Spring/Summer 2022 drop – but for the first time ever, the NYC-based label is launching a full activewear collection for Spring/Summer 2024.

Using its signature silhouettes as inspiration, 3sixteen looked to curate, above all, an adaptive activewear capsule that melds fashion and function and can serve many purposes.

“Many of us run and hike and found that when we buy functional clothes, they’re only designed for a singular function,” 3sixteen conveyed in a statement. “Everything in this inaugural release has been carefully considered and designed to be equally wearable in a casual wardrobe.”

For the Spring/Summer 2024 collection, 3sixteen revamps the Trail Shirt with nylon and a rubber-tipped locking zip. A Polartec Fleece Jacket also makes the cut, complete with nylon reinforcements on the shoulders and elbows, as well as front pocketing. Internal pocketing is also included, with the jacket lined with mesh to maximize insulation.

Other new pieces include the Running Short – equipped with four-way stretch nylon and a bevy of zip-closure pocketing – the Run Tee and the Interval Hat.

Check out the lookbook – photographed by Dave Hashim – in the gallery above. Models JP Florez and Angelo Hay who flex the new apparel in the shoot hail from local NYC run crews World’s Fair Run Crew and Run Hustle Run, respectively.

Expect the range to release on 3sixteen’s official webstore, as well as its New York City and Los Angeles flagships, this Thursday, April at noon ET.
