Takeoff To Posthumously Appear on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's 'VULTURES Volume 2'
The record is set to release this May.
A verse from the late Takeoff is set to join Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign‘s VULTURES Volume 2.
The news was confirmed by Rolling Stone, adding that the cut is tentatively entitled “Let Me Chill Out.” Also joining the Migos rapper as a guest on the track are Rich the Kid and NBA Youngboy, with the source noting that the song will be one of the “highlight tracks” of the upcoming record.
Earlier this week, Ye himself confirmed that the second installation in their VULTURES series will be dropping on May 3. It was first announced to be releasing in March with a third and final record in April, however information about the latter are yet to be confirmed as of writing.
Takeoff was fatally shot by what is believed to be a stray bullet in Houston on November 2022. Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested and charged with the rapper’s murder in May 2023.
