After releasing a pattern-heavy capsule collection for NEPENTHES last week, NEEDLES continues to gear up for the warmer weather with a special collaborative drop in partnership with JOURNAL STANDARD.

The two Japanese labels have come together, blending each of their signature aesthetic codes into the Cowboy One-Up Shirt. Presented in a breezy and relaxed fit, the shirt boasts a slight silky sheen look, while all-over tonal stitched stripes elevate the material in an understated way.

Some of the characteristics of a cowboy shirt have been adapted to keep the piece lightweight. In place of the usual single-point flap pockets are patch pockets, which come with complementing pearl snap buttons as fastening. Adorning the shirt’s edge-stitched yokes across the front and back are NEEDLE’s emblematic butterfly motif, which comes in an embroidered and tonal finish.

Available in terracotta red, black and dark blue colors, the collaborative Cowboy One-Up Shirt is priced at ¥28,600 JPY (around $185 USD) and will be available via the brands in mid-May.
