Over the past two years, “I Rise, We Rise” has been the defining ethos behind Chivas’ modern-day chapter. Breaking down stereotypes and elevating pioneering individuals, it continues to bring positive change to communities across the globe with the launch of a new podcast focused on the trailblazing forces in the Middle East.
Dubbed “Regals Blends and Beats,” the podcast finds host MKO joined by a mix of creatives who share the journeys that led them to the top of their game. Exploring their challenges, goals, and experiences, each episode aims to inspire its audience to pursue their passions and “rise” with their community. As a singer-songwriter, art enthusiast, and presenter, MKO is the true definition of multi-hyphenate. Back in 2021, he made his mark with Diverse – the first AfroPop album to be released in the region. Having made waves in the music scene, MKO went on to found Art Fusion Night which brings together artists of different disciplines to share their work. Now, boasting success in various industries, MKO has been enlisted by Chivas to help showcase emerging talent through its “Regals Blends and Beats” podcast as well as other campaigns.

From gracing high fashion catwalks to being crowned Mr. Nigeria in 2015, Monday Matteyu’s career is one to be proud of. Most recently, he has worked closely with Dubai Fashion Week and a number of well-known brands, creating content and using his platform to showcase the vibrant creative landscape in the Middle East – hoping to push forward the region’s fashion industry.

Similar to Matteyu, Eric Akoa has nurtured a successful career in front of the lens as a model for various campaigns, lookbooks, and adverts. Today, however, he juggles a variety of fashion and lifestyle jobs with coaching the next generation of aspiring models. Through his online curriculum Eric Fit Academy, he harnesses his years of expertise to teach others the tricks of the industry, offering courses on casting, confidence, and mastering the modeling process.
