Tyler, the Creator brought out some friends for his Saturday headlining set at Coachella 2024 weekend one.

The artist shared an eclectic set that encompassed his discography, performing “RUNNING OUT OF TIME” from IGOR with Childish Gambino, Flower Boy’s “Who Dat Boy” and ”Potato Salad” with A$AP Rocky, “See You Again” with Kali Uchis and “EARFQUAKE” with Charlie Wilson.

He also briefly touched on his initial impressions of Gambino and Rocky, stating that he “used to hate” both of them. “Seriously, I don’t know why, I gotta go to therapy to figure it out,” Tyler said of Gambino, adding that his feelings about him changed when he released “Urn.” He continued, “It was so undeniable, n***a. I was at conflict with myself. I’m like, ‘F*ck, how could a n***a that I hate so much be so good?’ And now, the tables have turned and this n***a barely returns my calls.” He then gave Glover his flowers, and shared his appreciation for his work, “Donald, I f*ck with you. Thank you for putting out shit that exceeds expectations or the perception that n****s like us should make. I love you, thank you for existing, and thank you for coming out. Please give him another round of applause.”

Tyler also briefly spoke about his relationship with Rocky, stating, “Okay, we thought we had beef. It was the n****s around us, then me and Rakim were like — we was in love, and now we’re friends.”
