Ty Dolla $ign Pays Homage To His Incarcerated Brother in 'Vultures Volume 2' Album Cover
The artist has long been an advocate of his sibling’s release.
Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign officially unveiled the cover art for their upcoming album Vultures Volume 2, which sees a masked person holding up a portrait another man.
Ty confirmed on Instagram that he is the masked person and the man in the portrait is his brother Jabreal Muhammad, also known as Big TC. Muhammad is currently serving a life sentence for a murder both the brothers maintain he didn’t commit.
The artist has been advocating for his brother’s release for a long time now, and even named his debut album after the Free TC movement. “I want to raise awareness to the racial and social injustices and mass incarceration that’s going on in our country right now. This is more than just an album; it’s a movement,” he told XXL Magazine during the record’s release.
