Paris Fashion Week FW24 Street Style
Boxy overcoats and relaxed silhouettes continue to have their moment.

Paris Fashion Week closes out the Fall/Winter 2024 season. Throughout fashion month, stars, press, stylists and more showed off their unique outfits all while attending the industry’s biggest events.
The fashion capital of France is known for its crowds during fashion week — having a back-to-back schedule that sees various people in their best dressed. The end of February and beginning of March marks the beginning of the transitional season from winter to spring. With unpredictable weather, Paris days challenge showgoers to dress fashionably and functionally, for all occasions. Whether it was rain or shine, attendees proved to be ready for anything. Key people spotted during fashion week include Pharrell who showed his support for fellow LVMH brand Loewe and creative director Jonathan Anderson. Pictured in an LV monogrammed leather jacket and his signature cowboy hat, a nod to his most recent collection from January, Pharrell seems to have brought back the Western cowboy look, influencing others to add the hat as a key accessory. Overcoats had a big moment, with many choosing to go with a floor-length teddy coats that exaggerate the traditional silhouette. Leather jackets, be it motocross-inspired, chore jackets or trench coats, are a common theme this season across all fashion weeks.
Varsity jackets like the OFF-WHITE piece worn by Serena Williams has become a staple outerwear option for many. Boxy blazers with over-the-top shoulder padding accentuated the oversized and was worn by many. Taking from the key Balenciaga silhouette, the relaxed aesthetic still prevails at fashion week. Sensible layering was the theme, with a main focus on versatility throughout the week.
