New ‘Kaiju No. 8’ Trailer Previews Theme Songs by YUNGBLUD and OneRepublic
Set to premiere on X this April 13.
A new promotional trailer for the Kaiju No. 8 anime has been revealed. In the latest trailer, TOHO Animation not only previews more action-packed sequences the highly-anticipated anime has to offer but offers a hear of its opening and ending theme songs.
Entitled “Nobody,” the upbeat pop-rock track serves as the anime’s official ending theme song. Performed by American pop rock band OneRepublic, the song can be heard throughout the first half of the promo video to accompany the more slice-of-life aspects of the anime. Halfway through the teaser video, the cheery and playful tone takes a somber turn as it quickly transitions to YUNGBLUD’s “ABYSS” — the anime’s official opening song that perfectly complements its battle-heavy scenes.
