NEEDLES and Drake's OVO Drop First Ever Collaboration
Combining both brand’s iconic butterfly and owl insignia.
Japanese brand NEEDLES is dropping a collaboration with Drake‘s OVO. Both brands are known for their athletic-focused ensembles with NEEDLES, best known for its striped track suits and OVO for its comfortable and versatile loungewear.
The collection is a seven-piece capsule and highlights both brand’s animalistic symbols. NEEDLES is best known for its butterfly emblem and OVO for its owl. Kicking off the collaboration are two tracksuits arriving in the staple black and white. In line with the dual toned design from NEEDLES, the tracksuit incorporates OVO’s gold detailing on either a black or white base. The track jackets feature gold stitched butterfly and owl logos as well as stripes along the arms. As fo the pants, the sides are also lined with the gold thread, as are the co-branded monikers.
In addition to the tracksuits, the collection also features a cream mohair cardigan featuring the full spelt out name, “October’s Very Own” in block letters all over the piece as well as a co-branded tag. A distressed oversized dark plaid shirt and a selection of t-shirts in deep purple, black and cream are also available. The t-shirts show off a gold graphic that fuses NEEDLES’ butterfly with “OVO” lettering. As the capsule’s collaborative accessory, the collection features a bandana in gray featuring the butterfly and owl stenciled in white.
