An Exclusive Look at the Supreme Shanghai Store
Opening later this week.
Supreme is gearing up for the opening of its first chapter in China. Located in the vibrant city of Shanghai, Hypebeast shares an exclusive look at the Supreme Shanghai flagship store.
Set to open later this weekend, the Supreme Shanghai store boasts a large space that not only showcases the most recent drops and signature box logo t-shirts, collabortions and more, but it also includes a full-sized, suspended skate bowl. The bare-bones interior, highlights some of Supreme’s most iconic campaign imagery, including ones with Mike Tyson, Kate Moss, KAWS and more. Across half of the walls of the store lines the current season’s pieces including everything from bomber jackets to fleece ones to signature graphic t-shirts, cargo pants, shoes and accessories like backpacks and caps.
A projector screen line ceiling playing skate videos throughout the day while music is played through custom OJAS speakers throughout. In the center of the room is a series of Supreme x Louis Vuitton emblazoned chests, all constructed together as a seat. Mark Gonzales‘s Shmoo character is placed in the front of the store as well as his F1 race car model, featuring some of the artist’s most iconic motifs. Wall-to-wall, the Supreme store features an abundance of art works, including Nate Lowman‘s famed bullet holes.
