Drought has taken “cutting-edge design” to a whole new level. Jake Olshan, the 27-year-old designer behind the Los Angeles-based studio, has presented Drought’s latest clean creation: a knife-shaped mirror.

“Because looking good is the best revenge,” Drought noted in an official statement.

Standing at nearly seven feet tall, the Knife Mirror is crafted from wood and glass. The wood is then painted jet black and stamped with three silver circles. The glass mirror comes complete with glued backing and three hooks on the back to hang the mirror on the wall.

Drought has also whipped up a hand-tufted Blood Rug to arrive in tandem with the Knife Mirror. Designed to hold the mirror in place from underneath – an alternative to hanging it from the hooks – the rug resembles a splatter of blood and measures about 36 inches by 13.5 inches.

Take a closer look below.

Preorder one for yourself now, exclusively available at Drought’s webstore. Please allow for up to 12 weeks for orders to be shipped.
