Born X Raised Wants to Reintroduce Itself for Spring 2024
With a logo-manic range of workwear suits, graphic T-shirts, Old English headwear and artistic prints.
After remixing the best of its archive last month, SoCal streetwear imprint Born X Raised has returned to reveal its Spring 2024 collection: a cut-and-sew lineup of workwear suits, logo-manic loungewear, expansive headwear and punchy graphics made in collaboration with artist Valentina Vargas.
Serving as a “reintroduction for the OG streetwear brand” (founded in 2013 by Alex “2tone” Erdmann and the late Chris “Spanto” Printup), the line champions its name brand with inventive iconography on hoodies, jackets, T-shirts and long-sleeves. The brand’s signage appears in graffiti-inspired bubble text on green tees and done up in crystal studs on sharp-collared “Stuck On Stupid” Dickies jackets, while the “BXR” stamp adorns black zip-ups.
The line’s hero ensemble is a green workwear-inspired suit, which includes a bulky, multi-pocketed coat and complementary straight-leg trousers. Here, the label’s logo is sewn into the chest of the jacket and down the left leg of the trousers. Meanwhile, Vargas’ artwork, which depicts an assortment of zombie-ish and Bratz-like characters, commands long-sleeves and matching beanies. Rounding out the range, BXR’s Old English motif takes over a mug and an array of flat-brim snapback hats.
