The adidas YEEZY 500 Suits up in "Stone Salt"
Releasing alongside the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Flax” restock on Monday.
adidas has found itself in a perilous situation in recent years as its partnership with Ye quickly collapsed. The two built an empire in the footwear space together, however, what remains now is a backlog of releases that the Three Stripes didn’t get to drop before the collaborative adidas YEEZY line fell apart. As a result, various drops have been scattered throughout recent years, much to the dismay of Ye.
The adidas YEEZY drops continued once again at the end of February, and the Three Stripes is readying another two-piece release, featuring both the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Flax” once again and the adidas YEEZY 500 in “Stone Salt” for the first time. Looking at the latter, various gray hues dress the sneaker, which is comprised of a mesh base, suede overlays and a synthetic mudguard. From there, its wavy sole unit returns with adiPRENE+ cushioning while sporting a solid gray finish to complete the look.
