READYMADE x BAPE Reveal Collaborative BE@RBRICK Set
Featuring a 1000% figure with a removable ghillie suit and a 100% companion figure.
Japan-based brands READYMADE and A BATHING APE have announced a collaborative BE@RBRICK set, featuring a 100% and 1000% example by Medicom Toy.
The 1000% figure features a removable ghillie suit, a foliage-based camouflage often used by military snipers, which also features signature BAPE camo print at the hands and ears. Additionally and not unlike the recent Canada Goose x BAPE BE@RBRICK, the layer can be removed to reveal the underlying figure. In this case, the face unzips and shows a metallic BE@RBRICK that seemingly glows in the dark.
As for the 100% figure, it is presented in a green moss-like finish, with BAPE-stylized facial features and READYMADE flame accents. The READYMADE x BAPE BE@RBRICK set is expected to be released via both brands Japan-based sites and locations sometime in March, with retail set at ¥396,000 or $2,631 USD.
