'Wonka' Receives Max Streaming Date

After hitting US theaters in December 2023.

Warner Bros Pictures’ Wonka is officially set to make its streaming debut on Max on Friday, March 8.

The movie-musical stars Timothée Chalamet as the titular character based on Roald Dahl’s Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, and follows a young and poor Willy Wonka as he bets on his own dreams to open his own chocolate shop. Wonka premiered in December 2023 and earned a $39 million USD domestic and $151.4 million USD global debut.

The film is helmed by Paul King and co-stars the likes of Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman and Hugh Grant.

Wonka makes its streaming debut via Max on March 8.
