To this day, Thierry Mugler’s eponymous label is known not just by the fashion industry, but also the world as a purveyor of artistically crafted, and sexy clothing – providing armor for women. Even under the tenure of American designer Casey Cadwallader who has been at the helm of Mugler since 2018, the brand still sees a focus on edgy styles, just with a more contemporary lens. Now the brand is furthering its affinity for sexy edge with the reveal of its new Pre-Fall 2024 collection.

What makes the pre-collection standout is Cadwallader’s introduction of Mugler menswear. For the first, the American designer leaned into the deeply sultry aesthetics Mugler is known for just with a sharper and more masculine edge. Tailoring leads the charge for the Mugler man with sharply cut boxy blazers, broad-shoulder overcoats and paneled puffer coats serving as highlights.

To complete the man, the American designer also tossed up sleek foldover suit pants and paneled moto-leaning pants. On to womenswear, belted tops in black alongside backless dresses serve as standout sexy pieces. But dresses overall lead the womenswear charge with corset dresses, paneled pieces, denim selections and chic wrap dresses in tow.
