Young Thug's 'Slime Season 2' Is Now Available on Streaming
The long-awaited streaming release drop alongside pre-orders of vinyls for all three mixtape series.
This Christmas, Young Thug gave his fans the long-awaited streaming release for his Slime Season 2 album. The 2015 effort home to fan favorite tracks like “Big Racks” and “Thief in the Night,” is now available on streaming.
On December 25, the rapper dropped the project on DSPs as well as vinyl pre-orders for all three instalments of his Slime Season mixtape series. The second album, Slime Season 2 was first released in 2015 and known to feature some of the Atlanta rapper’s best works. The 22-song album features Lil Uzi Vert‘s assisted “Big Racks” as well as standouts like “Hey I,” “Pull Up on a Kid” featuring Yak Gotti, “Never Made Love” with Rich Homie Quan. He also worked with Birdman and Shad da God and the like of Metro Boomin, Southside, Supah Mario and TM88 on the production side for the album.
The vinyl pre-orders give fans a chance to individually purchase the items or as a set trilogy bundle with an exclusive box set, posters and cards. Fans took to social media with excitement when they found out that Slime Season 2 is now available on streaming. One user said jokingly, “I can delete Slime Season 2 out of my local files omg,” while another said, “Slime Season 2 brings me back to simpler times, what a project.”
