Holthinrichs Watches Pays Homage to The Horology Club’s Roots With a Limited-Edition Time-Teller
Introducing the Signature Ornament “Concrete Jungle.”

Holthinrichs Watches, an emerging independent watch brand from the Netherlands, has joined forces with The Horology Club (THC) to unveil their very first collaborative timepiece. Combining Holthinrichs’ innovative and Brutalist-approach to Horlogerie, with THC’s contemporary appeal as well as its collector-focused visions, the duo have created a truly distinct timekeeper with the Signature Ornament “Concrete Jungle” limited edition.
Drawing from THC’s roots, the design takes inspiration from the city of Hong Kong, with its name referencing its “concrete jungle” nickname. The city’s iconic skyline and urban energy are reflected in the dial, which features lume-infused concrete, making it the first of its kind to be ever created. This unique material ensures legibility in the dark while also paying tribute to Hong Kong’s reputation as a city that never sleeps.
Enhancing the dial are numeric indices in oracle bone script, the oldest form of Chinese writing. Created using a meticulous molding process, the indices appear to be carved into the concrete, adding to their unique appeal.
Holthinrichs’ modernist design concept, Horlogerie Brut, inspired by Le Corbusier’s Béton Brut, is evident in the use of heavy textural contrasts, material honesty and raw aesthetics derived from manufacturing processes. The timepiece sports the watchmaker’s signature RAW case-finishing that gives it an ancient yet modern aesthetic.
The Signature Ornament “Concrete Jungle” has a case diameter of 38.5mm, is made from Grade 5 titanium and is powered by a modified Sellita SW-300 caliber. Owners can choose between two case options: the Signature Ornament Case, with polished, brushed and grained surfaces, or the Signature LAB Case, crafted using advanced 3D printing technology and featuring intricate details like skeleton lugs.
Releasing on December 20, the Signature Ornament “Concrete Jungle” is available in a 50-piece limited run in the LAB series case, while the Ornament case will only be available as a time-limited release. Prices range from $33,000 – $47,500 HKD (approx. $4,246 – $6,113 USD), the watch is expected to be delivered by April 2025. For more information, visit The Horology Club.
