After announcing its first shoe earlier this year, Californian brand ERL continues to build on its collection with the release of three new colorways for the Vamps, just in time for the holidays.

The ERL Vamp sneakers are recognizable for its chunky, skate-centric shoes that took the footwear world by storm. The dramatized upper is exaggerated and almost sees a cartoon-like shape. Continuing to pay homage to the designer’s Venice, California roots, the shoe is a nod to skate motifs. For Holiday 2024, the shoes arrive in sand, electric grey and pirate black. Similar to previous releases, the shoes are made of 100% premium suede uppers and sit atop a gum sole. Each of the shoes are lined with terrycloth which is reminiscent of a well-worn beach towel.

The shoe’s package is also one to be in awe over. Produced with the same materials as the corrugated material used by the US Postal Service, the boxes are transparent so to reveal ERL’s newsprint wrapping inside, featuring archival prints from the local 1970s Venice Beach underground scene. The Vamps are dropping on December 18 at 9 a.m. PST online for $455 USD.
