Nineteen-year-old music sensation d4vd has unveiled his latest single, “Where’d It Go Wrong?”, an emotionally raw track that showcases his genre-defying artistry. This release signifies a pivotal moment in d4vd’s meteoric rise, cementing his reputation as a trailblazing artist with a deeply personal touch.

“Where’d It Go Wrong?” delves into the fragility of love, unraveling the emotional turmoil of a relationship’s collapse. With its haunting melody and stripped-down production, the song’s minimalist soundscape serves as a poignant backdrop to d4vd’s raw and introspective lyrics.

Staying true to his roots, d4vd recorded the track in the closet of his childhood home in Houston using BandLab and his iPhone. Reflecting on the process, he shared, “This song reminded me why I’ve always loved making music on my own,” underscoring the authenticity and DIY ethos that has defined his artistry since the beginning.

The release follows d4vd’s electrifying performance at The Game Awards 2024 on December 12. Watch the music video above.
