SATISFY Announces TheROCKER, Its First In-House Sneaker
The brand describes TheROCKER as “the ultimate running shoe engineered for those who move between worlds.”
Paris-based SATISFY is bringing its singular “romantic performancewear” aesthetic to an in-house footwear model for the first time. The brand recently announced TheROCKER, a wholly original sneaker silhouette described as “the ultimate running shoe engineered for those who move between worlds.”
Material expertise is at the core of SATISFY’s product range — standout technologies in the SATISFY apparel line include CloudMerino wool jersey milled in Japan and GhostFleece, a custom lightweight Polartec Alpha blend, for example — and that same insistence on the world’s finest materials is on display via TheROCKER’s construction.
Semi-translucent uppers are made of Rippy Monomesh, a bespoke take on Nova Nylon 66 material that offers stabilization and moisture management. Midsoles offer a custom “super foam” that SATISFY has dubbed Euforia, a blend of PEBA and EVA, and were 3D-printed for maximum cushioning with no extra bulk. Down below, outsoles feature a TuneLug pattern inspired by RC car tires that wraps onto the midsole to ensure durability and traction in all climates. They also use Vibram‘s Litebase technology to reduce weight. From an aesthetic standpoint, the first colorway of TheROCKER features a monochromatic bone hue, given texture and depth by its translucent upper and chunky outsole lugs.
Though this may be SATISFY’s first in-house sneaker design, the brand is very familiar with the footwear sphere thanks to well-regarded collaborations with the likes of norda, HOKA and Crocs, and TheROCKER will begin a new chapter in the SATISFY lineage when it touches down in Summer 2025. Stay tuned for more info as it’s made available.
