This Saturday, the USC Trojans will take the field against the UCLA Bruins in the 94th edition of the storied Crosstown Rivalry, and they will do so in style. The Trojans are set to debut the Nike Kobe 6 football cleats in a player-exclusive “USC Trojans” colorway, paying tribute to the legendary Kobe Bryant and his deep connection to the university as well as the city of Los Angeles.

The cleats draw inspiration from Kobe’s iconic Nike Kobe 6 basketball shoes and are dressed in red, black and gold, mirroring USC’s signature color scheme. The design features a black snakeskin-textured upper – a nod to Kobe’s “Black Mamba” persona – accented with cardinal and gold Swooshes. Adding a personal touch, Kobe’s sheath logo adorns the tongue and his signature graces the side heel. This striking design combines athletic performance with a bold homage to the late Lakers legend.

Although the “USC Trojans” Kobe 6 cleats won’t be available for public purchase, they have already cemented their status as one of the most remarkable player-exclusive designs in college football history.
