Dsquared2 Pre-Fall 2025 Is For the Man on the Go
Twin designers Dean and Dan Caten divided their latest collection into several chapters — prep, neoclassicism and eveningwear among them — to define the contemporary D2 wardrobe.
Dsquared2, the fashion brainchild of twin designers Dean and Dan Caten, has uncovered its Pre-Fall 2025 collection: a multi-pronged style manifesto that’s broken up into multiple chapters, spanning neoclassic fits to Canadian signatures and dramatic eveningwear — all anchored by the duo’s penchant for “masculine refinement.”
The neoclassic chapter, captured with a sharp black-and-white photography style, includes sporty suiting, hybrid coats that operate as both blazers and bombers, and shoes that mash up a soccer-inspired sneaker and a dress shoe.
Elsewhere, the collegiate lineup embraces classic prep, with car coats and puffers styled over knitwear and ties, as well as Japanese selvedge denim pieces pairing with Oxford shoes. The Canadian leg of the collection features shearling jackets, flannel shirts, distressed denim, puffer vests and hiking boots, while the eveningwear portion includes structural shirting with closures that mirror silky scarves, velvet blue coats glittering double-breasted pinstripe jackets and satin black trousers.
Outside of ready-to-wear, the collection’s hero accessory is the Twin shopping bag, designed for the “man on the go,” per the label. The silhouette is made from chocolate-brown suede, with a large, voluminous shape ideal for travel — whether that’s to one of Canada’s lakes or on the subway in New York City.
