COMME des GARÇONS Parfums Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary with New Odeur 10 Fragrance
The crisp new scent boasts notes of mint, aldehydes, musk and ambrette, and its release is accompanied by a commemorative T-shirt.
COMME des GARÇONS Parfums is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024, and in commemoration of the milestone the brand has debuted a new fragrance dubbed Odeur 10. The fourth fragrance in the overarching Odeur line, which also contains Odeur 53, Odeur 71 and Odeur du Theatre du Chatelet, Odeur 10 draws its scent profile from “Eau Oxygénée,” or the French term for hydrogen peroxide. To this end, it features a top note of mint that gives way to a heart node of aldehydes while base notes are provided by musk and ambrette.
The new scent recently saw an exclusive launch at COMME des GARÇONS‘ Aoyama, Japan flagship, accompanied by a unique installation created by artist Yuichi Higashionna. A duo of vacuum-packed COMME des GARÇONS T-shirts were also made to support the release, both of which nod to the Odeur line uniquely: one presents a tri-color graphic Odeur 10 front and center while nodding to past scents with Odeur 71 and Odeur 53 back prints, while the other offers a slightly more abstract look with stylized Odeur 10, Odeur 71 and Odeur 53 hits. Both shirts are then finalized by way of a COMME des GARÇONS wordmark.
Available now via COMME des GARÇONS and Dover Street Market locations worldwide, Odeur 10 is priced at ¥30,800 JPY (approximately $199 USD). The accompanying T-shirts retail for ¥13,750 JPY (approximately $89 USD). All prices are inclusive of tax.
