Born X Raised Celebrates the Late Juan Gabriel's Impact With Memorial Collab

Born X Raised has teamed up with the late Juan Gabriel’s estate for an exclusive streetwear collaboration celebrating the influential Mexican artist’s impact on music and street culture.
The first-of-its-kind partnership is covered with memorializing graphic artwork, which features a blurred image of Gabriel alongside text reading “Amor Eterno” and “‘El Divo’ De Juarez,” which mean “Eternal Love” and “‘The Diva’ of Juarez” in English, respectively. The central motif appears across stadium jackets, crewnecks, T-shirts and candles, while additional “Exitos” hoodies land in royal blue, among other silhouettes. Rounding out the line, BXR car fresheners and sticker packs flaunt the label’s signature iconography.
The collection’s campaign plays a particularly special role in the touching collaboration, as each image is taken in the foreground of a mural of JuanGa by Gustavo Zermeño Jr. at Silverlake Lounge. “This location, already a cultural landmark, is expected to draw longtime fans who have embraced everything the estate has shared in the past, from limited-edition releases like the JuanGa Barbie to iconic concert recaps,” the brand wrote in a statement.
