Ravers and outdoor enthusiasts may seem like opposite subcultural archetypes, but the partners’ joint collection reveals that the two worlds can belong harmoniously.
Their experiment not only bridges vastly different lifestyles but also synthesizes innovative features that address a variety of conditions. Ideal for the outdoor partygoer, AFFXWRKS and SOUTH2 WEST8 combined their respective expertise into a range of tech-forward garments including waterproof materials, aerating mesh, and multipurpose accessories.
Immediately, one can notice that fabrics are visibly lightweight across the collection, beginning with the outerwear. Two waterproof jackets come in nocturnal color palettes with deep purple, dark brown, and forest green hues. Elsewhere a hooded jacket boasts digital red and black print akin to an infrared camouflage.
