SZA and Keke Palmer Are Desperate For Rent Money in ‘One of Them Days’ Movie Trailer
The Issa Rae-produced buddy comedy hits theaters January 2025.
The official trailer for SZA and Keke Palmer’s buddy comedy One of Them Days is here.
Helmed by Lawrence Lamont and produced by Issa Rae, the upcoming movie will mark SZA’s feature film debut and follow her and Palmer as best friends and roommates Alyssa and Dreux. The two struggle to make ends meet and when they discover that Alyssa’s boyfriend spent their rent money, they do everything they can in their power to ensure they don’t get evicted. This puts their friendship to to the test as they try everything from donating blood with newbie nurse Janelle James to applying for a fast loan against the advice of Katt Williams and more.
Joining SZA, Palmer, James and Williams in the cast are Maude Apatow, Lil Rel Howery, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Joshua Neal, Aziza Scott and Patrick Cage.
News of their film was announced in April 2024 following SZA’s appearance on an episode of Saturday Night Live that was hosted by Palmer.
