Squidsoup Opens the Doors to Its "Lost in Light" Exhibition
Blurring the lines between the “physical and the digital.”
Squidsoup, an art collective and pioneer of dynamic light and sound environments, has just presented its latest installation. It’s titled “Lost In Light,” and comes as a 3-story light installation in Shoreditch, East London.
Throughout the installation, the light show will host five individual exhibitions across three floors. The installation also spans a 30,000-square-foot gallery and will feature award-winning installations from Squidsoup, a collective known for pushing the boundaries of immersive art.
Additionally, Squidsoup has combined a slew of effects such as immersive lighting and electronic soundscapes that mold the space into a “breathing artwork.” Squidsoup’s exhibition will also host installations from its sub-brands, such as Circular Echoes, Infinite, Three Volumes, Sola, and Submergence. Each of these works offers a unique artistic experience that blurs the lines between the “physical and the digital.”
This latest exhibition from Squidsoup follows a slew of previous events — along with a collaboration with Four Tet — that have been held globally. For example, Squidsoup’s work has been presented at the International Centre for Light Art and Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, while the art has also traveled to Australia, showcased at premiere international festivals such as Burning Man and Vivid Sydney.
