LeBron James Equips Ohio State Players With Pairs of Nike LeBron 4 "Eggplant" Cleats
Continuing to show love to his hometown.
LeBron James always shows love to his hometown team, Ohio State. Taking to Instagram, the team and King James announced in a joint post that ahead of the Big Ten matchup against Oregon, the football teams is to receive custom cleats from Nike.
The team is expected to sport the special edition Vapor Edge Zoom LBJ 4 cleats in the iconic “Eggplant” colorway. Constructed out of durable Foamposite material, the shoe is lightweight and features the signature finish that mirrors that of the original LeBron 4 “Eggplant.” The shoe also features James’ No. 23 on the tongue. In the past Ohio State players wore other LeBron-inspired cleats, including a pair of LeBron 4 “Graffiti” cleats in 2023.
Ohio State is set to debut the PE cleats on October 12 during their match against Oregon. It is uncertain if these will be come a general release later on. Stay tuned for more information.
