Albino & Preto Reunites With Sig Zane Designs for Martial-Arts-Inspired Capsule
Dubbed “Parallels In Practice.”
Following up on their previous collaboration with Fitted, Albino & Preto and Sig Zane Designs have teamed up once again for a martial-arts-inspired capsule collection, dubbed “Parallels In Practice.”
Drawing from the parallels in martial arts and Halau O Kekuhi’s hula ʻaihaʻa, the collection not only celebrates, but also honors both practices’ deeply-rooted philosophies in discipline, commitment, and body awareness.
Leading the training apparel range is the 2-piece Gi. Crafted from 10 oz herring cotton, the pieces arrive in a conventional white base, topped with embroidery and appliqué in an eye-catching teal-black combo. The capsule also offers co-branded aloha shirts emblazoned in an allover pattern that marries the traditional ohe kāpala motif with A&P’s logo. In addition, rashguard tees, shorts and sweatshirts are incorporated with the co-branded graphic design, all rendered in a black and teal color palette.
