Hailing from Los Angeles, AKILA knows how to infuse the West Coast aesthetic and ideology into all of its silhouettes. AKILA is eyeing to expand its scope in its latest release, linking up with New York street art supply studio KRINK to bring the East Coast energy into one of the eyewear imprint’s signature sunglass silhouettes.

The Hi-Fi sunglasses, one of AKILA’s most coveted frames, the AKILA x KRINK version of the silhouette comes crafted from aluminum and covered in a matte black colorway. KRINK’s artistry is exemplified in the eyewear’s details, with graffiti-type lettering engraved onto the inner temple. Exposed metal temple cores elevate the design with hits of cobranding subtly stamped on the inner temples.

In true KRINK form, each pair also comes equipped with a limited-edition AKILA-branded K-42 paint marker made by KRINK.

Peep the AKILA x KRINK HiFi sunglasses in the gallery above and cop a pair now at AKILA’s official webstore as well as its brick-and-mortar locations.
