adidas and the Colombian Football Federation Celebrate 100 Years
Featuring an elegant centenary shirt, tracksuit and tee.
Everyone loves an anniversary shirt. There is an air of sophistication when a club or country pares back any extraneous elements in favor of a simple design from yesteryear. Some are noticeably similar to the present day, such as Celtic and AC Milan’s striped kits. Others can feel either noticeably old school or completely unorthodox, like Umbro’s reversible design for Manchester United.
Striking just the right balance of old-meets-new, the Colombian Football Federation is celebrating 100 years with an elegant new kit produced by adidas. The centenary shirt features a creamy off-white base with the Colombian flag prominently in the center and within the sleeves and mock neck collar. Inspired by Colombia’s 1945 South American Championship, the shirt features a discreet Trefoil logo and federation badge, as well as a graphic callout to 100 years on the inside neck tag.
Accompanying the kit is a tee similar to the jersey (without the flag in the middle) and an indigo Originals Beckenbauer tracksuit bearing the 100 year callout left of the chest. Shop the collection at adidas.
