The Reebok LTD Classic Leather Emerges in "Overdyed Gravel"
Constructed using calf leather and sporting a dystopian look.
Reebok has unveiled its latest, an “Overdyed Gravel” example of its LTD Classic Leather silhouette. The shoe, constructed using calf leather presents itself with a futuristic yet dystopian look, expressed through nearly monochromatic washed coloring.
The shoe is somewhat reminiscent of Maison Margiela collabs of the past, like the brand’s Tabi-Toed Classic Leather “Bianchetto” — Other shoes that come to mind include the 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi x Salomon’s Bamba 5, particularly due to their overdyed looks.
Notably, the LTD Classic Leather features fading throughout, perforated detailing at the toe and sides, a lace-up closure, a padded collar and more. Branding elements, while subtle, are found embossed at the padded tongue, heel and signature logo flag. Additional design considerations include grained leather and canvas lining, a sculptural foam rubber midsole and a treaded rubber outsole.
At the time of writing, Reebok’s LTD Classic Leather in “Overdyed Gravel” is available for purchase via select retailers like Titolo for a retail price of $200 USD.
