Update: Last week, it was announced that Devin Booker will be making his fourth NBA All-Star Game appearance this year. In celebration of this, the BOOK 1 “Mirage” is being prepared for a special release surrounding All-Star Weekend. The Swoosh has just unveiled the colorway with a visual breakdown that highlights its mixed material build as the sneaker is now expected to drop on February 17 via Nike SNKRS at a price of $150 USD. Original Story: With the Phoenix Suns on a hot streak, Devin Booker is poised to land a spot in this year’s NBA All-Star Game. The sharpshooter has again played a key role in leading the team as his first signature shoe, the Nike BOOK 1, backs his many electric performances.
While the BOOK 1 has yet to make its worldwide debut, new colorways continue to excite fans as “Light Orewood Brown” is the latest of many gray-colored looks. For its mixed-material upper, a combination of a patterned textile at the base and leather at its overlays and toe box offers a strictly-gray finish while a soft brown hue adorns the collar and lining. Supporting the sneaker, a slick white sole unit rounds out this initial preview of the colorway.
At the time of writing, no release details regarding this “Light Orewood Brown” colorway of the Nike BOOK 1 have been shared as we eagerly-await the proper debut of Devin Booker’s first signature shoe.
