As the week in music comes to a close, Hypebeast has rounded up the best projects for the latest installment of Best New Tracks.

This week’s lineup is led by Megan Thee Stallion, Ice Spice and Skepta, who each released the singles “Hiss,” “THINK U THE SHIT (FART)” and “Gas Me Up (Diligent),” respectively. Also joining this selection are offerings from Lyrical Lemonade, Chuck Strangers and The Alchemist, Lil Nas X, evilgiane, Justice and Tame Impala, SiR and Isaiah Rashad.

Megan Thee Stallion – “HISS”

Megan Thee Stallion continues her release of snake-themed music with “HISS.” The track follows November 2023’s “Cobra,” which marked her first release since settling the lawsuit with her former label, 1501 Certified Entertainment. Megan makes it evident that she’s shed her old skin to reveal a stronger and more powerful woman.

Ice Spice – “Think U The Shit (Fart)”

Ice Spice will break down your confidence in her latest single, “Think U The Shit (Fart).” Don’t let the song’s “meme” potential fool you, the Princess of Rap sounds prepared to prove that she’s “richer,” “thicker” and “quicker” than those who try to compete with her.

Skepta – “Gas Me Up (Diligent)”

Skepta preps the release of his upcoming album Knife & Fork with the lead single “Gas Me Up (Diligent).” The artist previously shared, “It’s been years since I dropped my last album and I want to thank you for all the love during my hiatus. I’ve seen the messages, tweets and Tik Toks, I’m truly grateful that my music is still resonating with the world, even in my absence.”

Lyrical Lemonade - All is Yellow

Cole Bennett’s Lyrical Lemonade celebrates its 10th anniversary with the release of its newest project, All is Yellow. The 14-track record features a stacked list of guest artists such as late Juice WRLD, a close friend and collaborator, appears on the previously-released single “Doomsday,” along with the likes of Kid Cudi, Eminem, Juicy J, Denzel Curry, JID, Lil Yachty, Jack Harlow, Teezo Touchdown, Latto, Cordae and more.

SiR – “No Evil”

Justice x Tame Impala – “One Night/All Night”

Justice announces their upcoming album Hyperdrama, which drops April 26, with the Tame Impala-assisted single “One Night/All Night.” The French duo describes the track as something that should “sound as if a dark/techno iteration of Justice had found a sample of a disco iteration of Kevin Parker,” adding, ““Kevin has a sense of melody that’s fascinating in the sense that he manages to write melodies that feel both simple and natural, but very peculiar at the same time. This song oscillates between pure electronic music and pure disco but you never really get the two at the same time. This very idea of switching instantly from a genre to another within a song runs through the whole record, and is maybe showcased the clearest in ‘One Night/All Night.’”

Isaiah Rashad celebrates the 10th anniversary of his beloved debut album Cilvia Demo with a special Spotify release. The artist performed solo (though he did bring SiR along), posted up in the intimate, homely Spotify Studio to deliver live performances of four of the album’s signature tracks: “Menthol,” “Rip Kevin Miller,” “Shot You Down” and, of course, “Heavenly Father.”
