Stones Throw frontman Peanut Butter Wolf (Chris Manak) has always had an affinity for Japan. So much so, that in 2018, he co-founded the now beloved Goldline record bar in Los Angeles’ Highland Park neighborhood. Following along this admiration for all things Japanese, the label has released a new collaborative capsule with UNION TOKYO.

Dubbed the Record Shop Collection, the capsule includes new t-shirts for Knxwledge, Sudan Archives, Peanut Butter Wolf and Charizma, as well as a premium 1973 logo hoodie in a washed charcoal colorway. For those looking to carry their wax and look good while doing it, DIGAWEL created a hand-crafted Stripe Shirt Jacket and Stripe Cargo Pant with zipper pockets that can fit a handful of 45s.

Alternatively, POTR (by Porter Yoshida) was tapped to create a 1973 Stripe Record Bag featuring a leather strap and a cork record mat. The Stones Throw x Union Tokyo Record Shop Collection released several days ago in Japan, but is also exclusively available at the label’s North American store.
