Stream the Final Trailer for 'The Boys' Spinoff, 'Gen V'
Premiering on Prime Video later this month.
Gen V‘s latest trailer gives viewers a glimpse into just how gory Godolkin University is. In the newest two-minute trailer for the spinoff of the hit Prime Video series The Boys, it becomes evident why the series garnered an R-rating.
“I know there must be many thoughts going through your mind right now – ‘Is this the right place for me?’ ‘Do I belong here?’” Godolkin’s headmaster of sorts addresses the new students. “Let me assure you: we see something in you – something you may not even see in yourself, even if you do have X-ray vision.” However, it’s not long after this profound monologue that the trailer sees a shift in tone. Loaded with lots of blood, violence, and even more ominously eery sequences, it’s clear that, as one of the young heroes puts it, “some weird sh*t is going on.”
“It’s just a matter of time before they find out about everything else we’re doing,” one of the Godolkin’s employees explains to another – to which she replies: “If The Woods is exposed we all have a big, potentially fatal problem.” While it’s unclear what exactly is going down, it’s clearly something. Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo and Lizze Broadway star in the series alongside Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas and Marco Pigossi. Additionally, The Boys actors Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and P.J. Byrne will return to reprise their respective roles, with Clancy Brown and Jason Ritter also boasting guest appearances. The first three episodes of Gen V hit Prime Video on September 29; the show will then follow a weekly-release format leading up to its November 3 finale.
