Cordae Drops Off Cinematic Video for "Make Up Your Mind"

Cordae‘s vibey summer single “Make Up Your Mind” has just gotten the visual treatment. In the upbeat cut’s music video, the rapper brings the lyrics to life, telling the story of a rocky romance with his unreadable on-screen lover.
“I said she love me / She love me not / But she don’t got no damn clue about what she wants,” he opens, as the couple alternates from being posted up together on the couch to being at odds in separate rooms. Cordae and his lady run through dates and dinners, all the while fighting and making up, and fighting and, you guessed it, making up again. “B*tch make up your mind (make up your mind) / Figure it out (figure it out) / Hey, hey, hey, figure it out,” he croons on the chorus.

The Maryland rapper’s goal with “Make Up Your Mind” was to “make a timeless song that makes people feel good,” per a statement from August. “Sumn different, and honestly my favorite song to perform,” he wrote in a recent Instagram caption.
