AVAVAV and OnlyEver's NFT-Voted Shoe Puts Hooves On Your Feet
Available in black leather and white fur, the “Hoofster” shoe was debuted on AVAVAV’s Milan Fashion Week runway.
Beate Karlsson‘s AVAVAV debuted its Spring/Summer 2024 collection at Milan Fashion Week, taking attendees through a stress-introduced runway. The showcase was rapid and humorous, seeing models present in chaos. Karlsson secretly unveiled her footwear collaboration with digital platform OnlyEver, a “phygital club” that encourages free-flowing creativity.
The “Hoofster” shoe is striking and unique, mimicking a mammal’s angular toes. The offering combines physical and digital worlds through an interactive community concept, allowing the public to vote on the design. The limited-edition shoe is made-to-order, individually linked to an NFT blockchain that gifts its owner a digital version.
Crafted in black leather and white fur, the boot-like design features an elongated throat connected to an inscribed sole split in two. The rounded shape is animalistic in nature, available for €750 EUR (approximately $795 USD).
