Nanga Puts Its Spin On Aquascutum’s Iconic Trench Coat

Japanese outdoor specialist brand, Nanga has teamed up with British luxury label, Aquascutum to unveil a capsule collection, combining quality, functionality, and timeless
yet sophisticated appeal.
The collaboration centers on the Filey Down Coat and the Portable Down Muffler, both offered in two colorways each. With the two pieces, Nanga reimagines Aquascutum’s hallmarked aesthetic with functional, hybrid construction. Comprising premium Spanish duck down, as well as its very own AURORA-TEX®, the garments are composed of nylon, and coated in a layer of waterproof and porous polyurethane. ensures breathability without compromising on its heat-trapping functionality.
Priced at ¥110,000 JPY (approximately $753 USD), the Filey Down Coat is offered in a classic Camel hue or a timeless Black. The design is perfect to be worn outdoors during winter, as it is built to keep the body warm without feeling heavy.
Designed to complement the Filey Down Coat from functionality, and materiality, to appearance, the Portable Down Muffler arrives in Brown and Black colors for the price of ¥17,600 JPY(approximately $ 120 USD). One side of it boasts a smooth and plain design, while the other side is fitted with a large check pattern, complete with co-branding.
The collaborative capsule collection will be available around mid-September time, via Aquascutum’s Japanese website and physical stores.
