At the end of this past August, German label A Kind of Guise revealed its second drop from its Fall/Winter 2023 collection, which offered up a play on texture and layering for the cool months ahead. just last week the brand built upon its newly introduced exclusive series with its second exclusive drop – preparing for fall with a range of wares crafted from sustainable materials. Now the brand continues to march on with the reveal of the third drop for its FW23 “Huldufólk” collection.
With the cooler seasons on the horizon, the drop centers on a wardrobe of classic yet cozy essentials that are crafted to brace the temperatures. However, the drop specifically focuses on outerwear, knitwear, cardigans, and warm accessories. As outerwear leads the charge, the lot encompasses coats and relaxed-fitted jackets, which are crafted from wool. Whether it be a classic knee-length camel coat or a minimalist navy blue/black varsity jacket, the assortment is varied enough to fit your fancy. Beyond them, the outerwear lot also features puffer jackets and vests made from technical recycled nylon.
Moving on from outerwear, knitwear takes a cozier cadence with Jura cardigans in green that are complete with textured virgin wool weaves and multi-weave knitted pants – for head-to-toe comfort. Other knitwear staples include classic cable knits and geometric knits with custom intarsia designs. The collection also tosses up workwear-inspired pieces like Gunnar dungarees, which are made from textured corduroy. Rounding out the collection is an assortment of warm accessories spanning scarves and caps.
