YSL Beauty Names Hollywood Star Austin Butler as Latest Global Ambassador
Making his first appearance in the new MYSLF fragrance campaign.
YSL Beauty has just revealed that Austin Butler will join its family as the latest global ambassador. Following the appointment of A-list star Lenny Kravitz for its men’s Y fragrance, the renowned Hollywood actor steps into the role with his own distinctive flair and stylistic take on the heritage imprint.
For his debut at YSL Beauty, Butler poses as the face of the new MYSLF fragrance in the brand’s latest campaign. Taking his arresting gaze that was perfected in the 2022 Elvis biopic, the actor showcases how the new scent brings out the boldest version of yourself. In a conviction of breaking free of years of clichés, he expresses the facets of being “proud, strong and free” in a man’s world today.
The fragrance itself presents a contrasted and multifaceted trail of various notes, designed to represent the vast nuances of modern masculinity. When sprayed onto the skin, MYSLF opens with the intensely fresh and vibrant scent of bergamot, revealing orange blossom at heart which evolves into a sensual and long-lasting woody accord.
