Summer 2023 is the season for concerts with big names like Drake, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift performing worldwide tours. In terms of major success, Swift’s The Eras Tour has gained incredible traction, becoming one of the largest live spectacles this year. Fans all over the world are coming together to break records for her historical performances that feature dazzling costumes and an energetic stage presence.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the help of an army behind the artists. According to People, Taylor Swift understands the hardwork that is behind pulling off a show of such a scale night after night. To express her gratitude, she gave bonuses that totalled over $55 million USD to each person working on her show. The people include everyone from those that work behind the scenes like the sound technicians to those that join her on stage as dancers. Swift reportedly gave $100,000 USD bonuses to her 50 production truck drivers.

Currently, Swift is performing sold-out shows, approximately 70,000 fans each night. Swift initially announced the tour last October and ticket sales have sold out almost immediately when open to the public. The Eras Tour was given its name after she dedicated the show to each of her musical eras in her career, taking fans on a live journey. The tour began in March and is set to conclude on August 9, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona.
