The LABRUM x GUINNESS Summer Collection Enjoys a Pint Streetside
Paying tribute to Foday’s West African heritage and current British playground.
Foday Dumbuya is on his way to the top. The London-based designer’s eponymous label LABRUM is split between East and West, paying tribute to his West African heritage and current British playground. Dumbuya continues this journey through his collaboration with Irish stout brand GUINNESS.
LABRUM and GUINNESS are uniting for a relaxed summer collection meant to be worn with friends over a pint. The offering celebrates Sierra Leone immigrants in the UK, recalling Dumbuya’s hometown with collaborative graphics. Friends and family gather around pub tables for a good time, enjoying a glass of GUINNESS over traditional games.
LABRUM enters West African safaris with coordinating shirts and bucket hats destined for adventure, featuring pencil drawings of people playing checkers streetside. “SPECIAL EXPORT” tees display LABRUM-approved delivery stamps, while other designs show street vendors in action. Alongside the collection, LABRUM and GUINNESS will host immersive workshops that bring communities together under one roof.
Take a closer look at the LABRUM x GUINNESS summer collection in the gallery above. It will launch via LABRUM’s website on August 7.
