For decades, Medicom Toy has issued all sorts of releases featuring its signature BE@RBRICK design. Whether it be tapping a beloved artist or teaming up with a high-powered brand, collaborations have allowed the iconic toy to explore countless looks. Now, by teaming up with acoustic engineering company RINARO ISODYNAMICS, a portable Bluetooth speaker BE@RBRICK has been crafted.

The result of tens of thousands of hours engineering and 214 newly-designed parts, the collaborative BE@RBRICK AUDIO 400% Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a functional take on the toy. QUAD’360, new omnidirectional sound technology exclusively developed by RINARO for this collaboration, offers 4 custom-engineered acoustic drivers set in the head of the BE@RBRICK. Together, they create an enhanced field of sound that makes the most of its size. By utilizing a simple Bluetooth connection, owners can play their own audio via iOS and Android devices. Additional functionality includes hands on the BE@RBRICK that, when twisted, skip the track and adjust playback volume respectively. By combining all three colors of the BE@RBRICK AUDIO, one can create a true stereo setup. Technical specifications include 6 hours of portable listening, a rapid charging time of 1.5 hours via USB-C, a replaceable battery and more.

For those looking to jam out with Medicom Toy’s BE@RBRICK Portable Bluetooth Speaker, it’s set to release this November via the BE@RBRICK AUDIO site and select retailers worldwide. Priced at $499 USD, it’ll be available in three limited designs: “Clear”, “Smoke” and “Black” in 400% sizing.

In other exciting toy news, Billionaire Boys Club has reconnected with SECRET BASE for a Japan-exclusive Astro Boy vinyl figure in yellow.
