Marking the iconic Porsche 911 sports car’s 60th year, Porsche Design commemorates this special anniversary with a limited-edition Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T.

Limited to 1,963 pieces, the chronograph pays tribute to the classic Porsche 911 S/T 2.4 model, a lightweight sports car that was specifically developed for racing. In honoring Porsche’s motor-racing heritage, the timepiece boasts a sleek and sporty design. Featuring a lightweight, uncoated, and sandblasted titanium build, the watch is paired with a dial and bezel ring that’s doused in a stealthy black.

Imprinted on the watch face, the Arabic numerals on the sub counters, minute scale, and day-date display are coated in a luminous, phosphorous green hue. The indices and hands are presented in a contrasting white, while the number 60 on the minute scale is accented in red to nod to this specific anniversary.

The chronograph is operated by the COSC-certified Porsche Design WERK 01.240 caliber and equipped with a flyback function. The movement is partly viewable from the caseback, outfitted in a design that emulates the look of the 911 S/T alloy wheel. The wheel is offered in Brilliant Silver, Dark Silver, and Black colorways, while the emblem on the center is available in an “S/T” graphic or the historic Porsche Crest. Straps are also offered in a sand-blasted titanium bracelet, as well as rally leather ones in black or a Classic Cognac.

Each version is accompanied by a set of accessories as well as a designated and uniquely numbered watch plaque. Available to order from August 2, the limited-edition Chronograph 1  – 911 S/T will be open for ordering via Porsche Centers and Porsche Design Stores, with a price point of $13,500 USD. Find out more about the timepiece and its availability via the brand’s official website.

In case you missed it, the upcoming MoonSwatch is an ode to Swiss National Day.
