Official images of the pair reveal the kicks’ playful presentation and packaging that are inspired by elements of the event’s festivities. The Swooshes have been dyed with a bright pink hue and equipped with unique textures that are reminiscent of pan dulce. Bold red wiring with yellow stripes outlines the quarter panels while bright green wires border the heel overlays and buttery, pink suede mudguards. “Familia” branding is present on the right shoe’s tongues as well as in all-over, vibrant fashion across the insoles alongside floral icons, Nike logos and “23” hits for extra flair. Furthermore, the kicks will also come housed inside a multi-colored shoe box that also comes ornamented with “Familia” branding across the exterior, inside the lid and on the tissue paper.
Expect Nike and select retailers to launch these likely alongside other offerings closer to the Latino Heritage Month action that is set to go down from September 15 to October 15.
