Le Labo Introduces Latest City Exclusive Fragrance MYRRHE 55
Dedicated to Shanghai.

New York City-based perfumer, Le Labo, has remained a popular name in the fragrance world due to its fusion of decadent aromas and minimally clean designs. One of the more popular branches of the brand includes its lineup of city-exclusive fragrances, which has built up quite the roster over the years. To continue this endeavor, the brand has introduced its new city-exclusive fragrance, MYRRHE 55.
Dedicated to Shanghai, China, the new fragrance channels the once-celebrated importance of myrrh. From traditional medicines to religious ceremonies and more, the substance has been used for a variety of purposes throughout time. Once considered a “blood mover,” Le Labo is taking this notion to invigorate the wearer with the new scent.
Comprising the new scent are notes of jasmine, patchouli, balanced oud, ambergris, musk and myrrh. Alongside the other ingredients, myrrh brings forth incense-like notes of licorice, which adds another dynamic to the captivating scent. As an ode to Shanghai, MYRRHE 55 is “A true Chypre, is understated elegance. Dark and electric, old and new,” said the brand.
Before MYRRHE 55, Le Labo has also crafted city-exclusive fragrances for Gaiac 10 (Tokyo), Vanille 44 (Paris), Cedrat 37 (Berlin), Tabac 28 (Miami), Mousse De Chene 30 (Amsterdam), Citron 28 (Seoul), Musc 25 (Los Angeles), Tubereuse 40 (New York), Bigarade 18 (Hong Kong), Poivre 23 (London) and more.
Le Labo’s MYRRHE 55 will be available online from September 1 through September 30 and in-store in Shanghai.
