London-based designer Kiko Kostadinov is preparing to debut his highly-anticipated
Kiko Kostadinov’s relationship with ASICS has delivered several sell-out footwear models, including the GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA, HN2-S PROTOBLAST, and more. While the designer gave an initial look at his forthcoming ASICS NOVALIS silhouette in June, Kostadinov has revealed the first apparel drop coming this week.
The minimalistic designs stay true to ASICS’ athletic ethos while delivering contemporary uniforms that promote innovation and function. First, Kostadinov previews dismantled T-shirts in dusty yellow and purple hues. The garment features exposed stitching across the sleeves and chest, connecting to futuristic ASICS NOVALIS branding at the center. Full-length padded sleeves are layered beneath, while black panels decorate the rear below a distorted silhouette illustration.
Coordinating trousers accompany the previous, standing beside clean-cut bomber jackets with buttoned chest flaps that display concealed pockets beneath. The utilitarian design boasts two-toned fabric collars and black sleeves, supplying the pale purple base with delightful contrast. Finally, flared trousers with tonal patchwork detailing complete the collection alongside netted ribbon caps.
